RaySmartSolar ("we", "us", "our") operates raysmartsolar.com. This page explains what information we collect from you, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this website you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
- Lead form data you submit voluntarily: name, phone number, email, city, property type, monthly electricity bill range, and any free-text message.
- Contact requests made by phone, WhatsApp, or email.
- How you found us: the advertising campaign or website that first brought you here and the page you landed on. This is remembered in your own browser for 30 days and sent with your enquiry only if you submit the form. If you used the bill calculator first, its estimate is sent with your enquiry too.
- Anonymous analytics via Vercel Analytics: pages visited, device class, country, and referring source. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We also count taps on our WhatsApp and call buttons per page, without recording who tapped.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your quote request and schedule a site survey.
- To prepare engineered quotations and pricing for your property.
- To follow up on net-metering and warranty matters.
- To improve site performance and content based on aggregate analytics.
3. Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with: (a) trusted vendors processing data on our behalf (such as hosting, database, email and CRM providers) under confidentiality obligations, and (b) when required by Pakistani law or a valid legal request.
4. Data retention
Lead data is retained for up to 36 months after our last contact with you, then deleted or anonymised. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
5. Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing raysmartsolar@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies and browser storage
We use a minimal set of first-party analytics cookies via Vercel Analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Where you came from (section 1) is kept in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and is never sent anywhere unless you submit an enquiry. You can clear both in your browser settings.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Lead submissions are transmitted using TLS to our backend and kept in our customer-management system, which only our own staff can open, each with a personal password. While no system is perfectly secure, we use reasonable industry-standard safeguards to protect your information.
8. Children
This site is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
