Which one do you need?

Most people arrive here wanting one of three things. The rest of the list attaches to those rather than replacing them.

To cut a household bill, start with residential solar. Whether that becomes on-grid, hybrid or off-grid comes down to a single question: what should happen during loadshedding? On-grid has the lowest upfront cost of the three and switches off when the grid does. Hybrid adds a lithium battery so the house keeps running — and since the February 2026 move from net metering to net billing, stored units are worth roughly four times exported ones, which is why we now recommend it for most homes with regular loadshedding. Off-grid is for properties with no dependable grid connection at all.

To cut a business’s running costs, the split is by scale rather than by type. Commercial solar covers 25 kW to 500 kW — a factory roof, a school, a hotel. Industrial EPC covers 200 kW to 5 MW, where the job is closer to a construction project than an installation. On farmland, the equivalent is solar tube wells, which replace diesel pumping.

The remaining four attach to a system rather than being one. Battery storage retrofits lithium to solar you already own. Net-billing filing is the paperwork — done end to end with your DISCO on your behalf. EV charging and maintenance both come after commissioning.

Still not sure? A free site survey settles it in one visit. We look at your roof, your shading and your last twelve months of bills, then quote the system that actually fits — not the one with the best margin.
